Shaving your own back is close to impossible, and waxing a large area hurts and grows back within weeks. Laser works at the root, so after each session the hair comes back slower, finer and patchier. No more asking your partner for help with a razor.
Back hair is usually dark and coarse, which is exactly what our Diode 810 laser responds to best, so many people see a clear difference early in the course. A smoother back can also mean fewer ingrown hairs and less itching under a sweaty shirt.
Men are very welcome
Most of our clients are women, but the back is one of the most requested areas among men. There's no need to feel awkward: Ning and Fon keep it professional, relaxed and private, and you're treated with the same care as everyone else.

Comfort, sessions and aftercare
You lie face down while we work across your back with the Sapphire Cooling head. Most clients find it painless; it feels like a series of quick, warm taps. Sessions are planned 3 weeks apart, and 7 sessions is enough for most people (results vary). Men's back hair is driven by hormones, so a top-up session later on is normal for some.

Can women book a back treatment?
Of course. Women book the back too, most often the lower back. Same laser, same gentle approach.
Do I need to shave my back before I come?
Yes, the area should be shaved, ideally the day before. Can't reach? Don't worry. Tell us when you book and we'll sort it out together.
What about moles or acne on my back?
Tell us at the start. We work around moles and any broken or inflamed skin. If there's an open wound in the area, we'll wait until it has healed before treating there.
My back hair is light brown. Will it work?
Usually, yes: brown hair still has pigment the laser can find. It's very light blond, grey, white or red hair that responds poorly. If you're unsure, message us and we'll give you an honest answer before you book.
